  • 6 x 6 oz mahi mahi fish fillets
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tspn hot chili powder
  • salt and pepper, to taste

  1. Combine all ingredients except the fish. Mix well.
  2. Place fillets in a large resealable bag of shallow baking dish. Add marinade and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill. Remove fish from marinade and place on hot grill over direct heat for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until done.
  4. Cooks note : These are a perfect fish for Mexican inspired dishes like fish tacos.
